By accessing or using TenantGuard™ (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Not Legal Advice

TenantGuard™ is a self-help organizational and documentation tool. We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice, legal representation, or any other professional advice. Using the Service does not create an attorney-client relationship. For advice about your specific situation, consult a licensed attorney or qualified legal aid organization in your jurisdiction.

3. Account & Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload false, fraudulent, or unlawful content;
• Use the Service to harass, threaten, or defame any person;
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data;
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or disrupt the Service.

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of evidence, notes, and files you upload. You grant TenantGuard™ a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely to operate the Service for you. You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of what you upload.

6. Subscriptions & Payments

Paid plans are billed through our payment processor. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. You may cancel at any time; cancellation stops future billing but does not refund the current period.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that documents, exports, or reports generated through the Service will be accepted by any court, agency, mediator, or third party.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TenantGuard™ and its founder shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of housing, income, or legal remedies, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the prior twelve (12) months.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may close your account at any time by contacting support.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
