Organize the Dispute
- 1Tap Cases in the sidebar, then New Case.
- 2Give the case a clear title (e.g., "Unreturned Security Deposit" or "Broken Heating Unit").
- 3Capture what happened, when it started, and what you've asked your landlord to fix or pay.
- 4Select the category, state, and rental address so the record is jurisdiction-ready.
- 5Add the landlord's name and email so every notice and conversation ties back to one file.
Pro Tip Open one case per dispute — repairs, notices, payments, and conversations stay sorted for housing court, mediation, or legal aid.
